Rioichi

Rioichi Cooper is among my favorite of Sly Cooper's ancestors. Aside from being a ninja, his Splinter-esque voice and mannerisms give him a magnetism to his character.
You did a wonderful job on the posing and the rendering. It's also quite interesting that alongside the Cooper Cane, you gave him a ninja katana on his back.
And although his figure and wardrobe are not entirely accurate here; you can easily tell its Rioichi just by looking at him and all the minute details. The details in his gauntlets are particularly cool and add a real flare with the shine on the studs.
My one criticism is the choice of background. The color choices here are a bit off when depicting a ninja raccoon thief. Bright oranges, violets and yellows tend to contrasts greatly with his stealth-like demeanor.. Must be the lighting on is brow that's throwing me a bit off. No real big deal though overall, but seemed like a last minute addition to the presentation.
This piece also is more or less a showcase of your rendering skills; which are very good. But perhaps a bit more originality in presenting one of Sly's most popular ancestors could be called for in terms of facial expression and perhaps posing.
Overall it's a real nice piece to add to the roster of great Rioichi Cooper art. A few more original details could help it stick out a bit more above all the rest.
